This website is a primer for Scott Burnham’s workshop at Boston University on November 12, 2011. This site is part introduction to his work, approach and methods employed, and part mood board to generate some ideas and creative responses to some of the issues and opportunities in the city of Boston.

Opening perspective and changing perceptions of the city is the first step for a successful workshop. The video above is from the SuperCity project I created with Architect Will Alsop to explore the future potential of post-industrial cities. This video presents alternate ways of thinking about the future of Bradford, England, a once-prosperous industrial city in need of new ideas for its future.
